Data

Soil values originate from USDA NRCS SSURGO, a US government work in the public domain. We do not warrant their accuracy for your parcel — and neither does USDA. Values are county-level aggregations, and within-county variation is often larger than the difference between counties. Cost figures are our model and are marked as such throughout; they are not quotes, estimates or offers.

Referrals

If you submit a quote request we pass it to the partners named on that page and may be paid for doing so. We do not vet, license, insure, supervise or guarantee any contractor. Any contract you sign is between you and them. Check licensing and insurance yourself — the state licence lookup is free.

User submissions

By submitting a price, photo or comment you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish it and confirm it is yours to submit. Do not submit anything containing personal information about yourself or anyone else. We moderate before publication and remove anything on request.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows we exclude liability for decisions taken on the basis of information here, and our total liability is limited to zero, which is what you paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.

Changes and law

We may change these terms; the effective date below moves when we do. Governed by the law of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules.
